 Daxon had his port placed, spinal fluid biopsy, and bone marrow biopsy he also received a dose of chemo in his spinal fluid. The procedures all went really well. It was a rough day for him, he was very restless and in pain. He slept for most of the day. Later on in the day we received the news that the spinal fluid test came back with significant amounts of leukemia in it. That made him a high risk patient and it did change the course of treatment and extended our stay in the hospital. It wasn’t the news that we were hoping for so that was unfortunate but Dax is being a little fighter.
